Lazarus Dobelsky talks about Jewish cartoonists
I went to the Jewish Museum on Alma Road in St Kilda for the first time last week with some other members of the Australian Cartoonist Association. The ACA was hosted by Lazarus Dobelsky, whose knowledge of Jewish cartoonists is impressive. The exhibition ranges from the early part of the 20th century in American newspaper comics, through the adventure, crime and suspense comics of mid-century, to Maus and beyond. Fascinating.
