Growing Food in the Arctic Circle Isn’t Just For Cartoons

For some time, the residents of Snowpeak (location undisclosed, but it is in a Canadian part of the Arctic Circle) have grown a lot of their own food. They have a greenhouse, but I thought it was my artistic licence that they were able to garden so far north… until I read Treehugger and found that there is a community garden, in parallel to the one in Arctic Circle, in the real Arctic Circle!
